This chart shows the types of offenses under which the U.S. federal prison population (205,096) was sentenced.
The big fat light-blue bubble is Drug Offenses, 350% larger than the next highest category (Weapons, Explosives and Arson).
Data came from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and the data visualization was made using Many Eyes.

I'm looking at CheddrMedia.com and their contest application. I'm testing their widget at the right in the sidebar with a contest for the "Best Photo Caption." Try it out.
On Flickr, I receive about 20 views each day of these specific photos: a cartoon head, my granddaughter, Karissa, and an example of data visualization with fractals.

I love the seasons, but I've become more aware since I hung the blue birdfeeder a couple of years ago. The pesky squirrel, the woodpecker, the doves, the rain - all, technically, data visualizations in a digital world telling a story.
